The water jump draft

I had a great experience with what happens when you risk something and when you believe in your self, even if its dangerous. It pays off to overcome yourself.

It was a Saturday night at a common lake in my hometown. We were out for waterskiing and me and some friends had a lot of together. An our after the waterskiing was over we stayed at the lake for a few more hours. It got really dark and the water was cold like it would be snowing. We sat at the beach and spoke about things we could to because it was quite boring. After a while we decided to go into the water, even if it was uncomfortable and freezing. We swam around without having a good view of the water. Finally I was attracted to climb on a tower from waterskiing. The tower was ten meters high and the steal felt cold and hard. Because of the description of the lake which was hung out at the water-plant I knew that the water was really deep and safe to jump. Many adults were jumping down from the tower which I had observe the last days. So I swam to the tower and start climbing up. On the one hand I had a really uneasy feeling, but on the other hand adrenalin and happiness flowed through my body. I decided not to think much about it ,because I was sure that I will change my opinion soon. Thats why I just kept climbing. After a few minutes I reached the top of the tower. I hold myself at an big metal string and looked down to the water. It was to dark to see a different between the air and the water. I had no idea how high I was above the water. As I was standing on the tower some of my friends tried convincing me to climb down because it would be to high and to dark. I stood there for a long time counting many times to three without jumping after it. I was to afraid. I played with the thinking to climb down but finally I pulled myself together and I said: "No, I will do it!" Adrenalin pushed up in my body and without thinking or counting up numbers, which can make you changing your opinion, I jumped down the tower. I enjoyed every second of the flight and dunk in the water. Full with energy , pride and happiness I swam back to my friends.

I felt so good like nearly never before in my life. I convinced myself and my body and done something amazing. It was a lot of fun to jump and to dunk in the water. I risked something and it payed off 100%. This is a reason why I learned to convince myself and to risk something that is not fully safe. The experiences after it will change your whole life and make you more self confident and independent. Even if it is most times better to take the safe way it can be great to risk some things.
